Instruction to Authors

Welcome to Journal of Smart Computing and Quantum Technologies. The journal is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality research that contributes meaningfully to academic knowledge and scholarly advancement across diverse disciplines.

Authors are encouraged to carefully review the journal’s editorial policies, submission requirements, ethical standards, and publication guidelines before submitting manuscripts.

Editorial Policy

  • Submitted work must be original and not previously published.
  • Manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere.
  • Submissions remain exclusive to the journal during review.
  • All sources, data, and references must be properly cited.
  • All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection software prior to peer review.

Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment for scope, originality, quality, formatting, and ethical compliance.

Corresponding Author Responsibilities

Only one corresponding author should be designated for communication with the editorial office. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors are informed about editorial decisions, revisions, and publication updates.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the editorial screening undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent expert reviewers.

  • Authors may suggest qualified reviewers without conflicts of interest.
  • Reviewer selection remains at the discretion of the editorial board.
  • Revisions may be requested based on reviewer comments.
  • Authors must provide a point-by-point response to reviewer feedback.
  • Revised manuscripts should clearly highlight all changes made.

Appeals and Complaints

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by contacting the editorial office with a clear explanation and supporting justification. Appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, whose decision will be considered final.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • APCs are charged only after formal manuscript acceptance.
  • No submission fee is charged during the review process.
  • Rejected manuscripts incur no publication fee.
  • Editorial decisions are independent of APC payments or institutional affiliations.

Authorship and Contributions

All listed authors must have made substantial scholarly contributions to the work.

  • Study conception or design
  • Data collection, analysis, or interpretation
  • Drafting or critical revision of the manuscript
  • Approval of the final manuscript version

Changes to authorship after submission require written approval from all authors and editorial consent.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that may influence the research. If no conflicts exist, authors should clearly state that no conflict of interest exists.
