Author Responsibility

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Reproducing copyrighted material without permission

Citation and Attribution

All content derived from previously published work must be properly cited and referenced. Direct quotations should be clearly indicated using quotation marks or appropriate formatting.

Self-Plagiarism and Prior Publication

Reuse of previously published material, including theses, conference papers, preprints, or working papers, must be clearly disclosed and properly cited at the time of submission.

Figures, Tables, and Illustrations

Figures, tables, charts, and graphical materials reproduced from other sources must include proper citation and permission where required.

Disclosure Requirements

Authors must disclose any overlap between the submitted manuscript and previously published or submitted work in the cover letter provided to the editorial office.

Editorial Action and Investigation

Suspected cases of plagiarism or unethical publication practices are investigated by the Editorial Board.

  • Retract published articles
  • Notify affiliated institutions when necessary
